Account:Types
From Auto Assault Wiki
In our current stage of beta, we have four different account types. These are:
Contents |
Standard beta
If you signed up for the beta test through our website and received a beta invitation but have not applied a pre-order code, chances are this is what you have. Standard accounts have access to the regularly scheduled Sat/Sun playtest as well as full access during special weekend beta events.
Pre-order
If you've applied a pre-order code to your PlayNC master account, you have a pre-order account that gives you access to the server during the Wed/Thurs playtest as well as on the weekends - either for the regular Sat/Sun playtest or for the entire weekend during weekend beta events.
Weekend beta events
If you signed up through a special promotion we've done through a gaming site (such as the one we're currently running with IGN), you got a weekend beta account. These are valid for the duration of that promotion and you will be able to play each weekend until it ends. Weekend accounts created through previous promotions are no longer valid, but you can create a new account by signing up for a new code from the current sponsor.
24/7
Also referred to as "golden tickets," these accounts were first given to friends and family of the Auto Assault team, some members of the press and some of our earliest beta community members. From time to time, we will select small groups of testers to present with their own "golden tickets" based on their level of participation and the feedback they provide to us.
Playtest times
Our regular playtest schedule is:
- Mid-week: Wednesday, 6 pm CST, through Thursday, 6 pm CST (pre-order and 24/7 accounts only)
- Weekends: Saturday, 6 pm CST, through Sunday, 6 pm CST (standard, pre-order and 24/7)
- Weekend events: Friday, 3 pm CST, through Sunday, 2 am CST (weekend event, standard, pre-order and 24/7)
Please note that the schedule may change for any of these playtests. Check the patcher page or the News and Updates section of our message boards for updates regarding schedule changes.
